Our Story...

The idea of Luxury Gift in a Box started at a kitchen table in January 2020 and we had very humble ambitions with what we thought we might achieve with our small business. We had been looking for something the two of us might be able to do together for a while and an online retail business had an immediate appeal.

With our previous business experience to draw upon we started out with a small collection of pamper gift boxes, the first of which we started to sell in early March 2020. Just a few short week later the world found itself in a global pandemic with the entire country in lockdown. This brought a whole set of new challenges but also some unique opportunities.

We both believe strongly that we all need to take responsibility for our individual impact on our planet and we are constantly working towards improving what we as a business do in this regard. We don’t support animal testing and many of our products are vegan.

Our customers are at the heart of what we do and we appreciate the support they give us as a small local business. We pack each gift box ourselves with careful care and attention. Our gift boxes are sent in celebration of a big day, to say thank you, I’m sorry, I love you, I’m thinking of you and so much more. The gift messages our customers often include have made us laugh and made us cry and we regularly feel moved by the sentiments expressed.

We have some exciting prospects and plans for the next few years and these will include expanding our gift box range by collaborating with some fantastic UK based entrepreneurs. We are optimistic about the future and we are looking forward to what that holds for us.
